Pricing

All pricing for processing is based on incoming weight and includes washing, picking, carding, pin drafting.

Processing

No grease (Alpaca) – $15/lb

Regular Grease – $14/lb

Heavy Grease – $15/lb

Please note that really fine fibers such as cria fleeces or unusally greasy fiber that may need extra attention will have an addition charge of $1-$5 depend on the care it needs. This does not happen very often so please don’t worry.

Washed Fiber

This is for fiber that has already been wash and is clean enough for my machines. It must have absolutely do grease or dirt in the fiber to meet our standards. If it does not meet our standards then I have the right to re-wash the fiber.

Washed Wool – $12/lb

Washed non- grease animals – $14 This includes, but not limited too Alpaca, llama, angora.

Dyeing

Dyeing will be based on weight after it is washed if it is a solid color or after it is pin drafted if it is a handpainted color.

Solids- $10/lb

Handpainted – $18/lb

Spinning

Spinning includes Washing, picking, carding, pin drafting, and then spinning.

Spinning – $32/lb

**We have no fiber quantity minimums, but I do have to charge a minimum of $30 for a run.

-We have the right to refuse any fiber that does not meet our standards at the owners expense.
- Order not paid within 60 days will become property of Fibers 4 Ewe

  1. What do you charge for blending. We have egads amount of mohair. Do you spin straight mohair? Is this handspun or machine spun? We also have 50 pounds of llama….do you recommmend using straight llama or blending.? I will do the dyeing (my favorite part) I just have too much fiber to spin on my own.
